Using strips from another brand with your meter, or these strips with another brand's meter, may produce inaccurate results. Always use original Swiss Point of Care strips with your Swiss Point of Care Extra meter.

Each strip uses Glucose Oxidase (GOD) enzyme technology, which is glucose-specific and helps avoid interference from other sugars such as maltose, galactose, and xylose. No manual coding is required. Each strip includes the calibration information needed for simple, code-free testing.

Not included: Swiss Point of Care Extra Glucose Meter, lancets, lancing device, and control solution.

How to use

1. Open the vial cap and remove one test strip. Close the cap immediately to protect the remaining strips from moisture.

2. Insert the test strip into the Swiss Point of Care Extra meter to turn it on.

3. Wait until the blood drop and strip symbol blinks on the display.

4. Apply a drop of blood to the sample tip at the end of the test strip. An audible beep confirms the drop is sufficient.

5. Your result appears on the display within 4 seconds.

6. Slide the strip ejector to remove and discard the used strip.

How to store

- Store in the original vial with the cap closed tightly at 2–35°C

- Keep in a cool, dry place away from heat and direct sunlight

- Do not freeze or refrigerate

- Do not store in humid environments such as a bathroom

- Do not transfer strips to another container

- Unopened shelf life: 24 months. See expiration date on vial, printed in Year-Month-Date format.

- Open vial: use within 6 months of first opening. Write the opening date on the vial label.

- Do not use strips past their expiration date
