Reliable cholesterol testing requires regular quality control. The Mission 3-in-1 Control Solution Set is designed for pharmacies, clinics and occupational health settings using the Mission 3-in-1 system.

The set includes four control solutions across two analyte groups: total cholesterol (CHOL) and combined HDL/TRIG. Two control levels are provided for each group, Normal and High, allowing you to verify system performance across the expected measurement range.

When the control result falls within the expected range printed on the test strip pouch, it confirms that the meter, test strip and test procedure are all functioning correctly together. If results fall outside the expected range, the user manual provides guidance on troubleshooting.

This product is for use with the Mission 3-in-1 Cholesterol Monitoring System only and is intended for in vitro diagnostic use.

How to use

Allow all materials to reach operating temperature (20 to 40°C) before testing. Testing below 20°C may affect results. Use the control solution with the meter set to blood (bL) mode and follow the instructions in the Mission 3-in-1 user manual.

Key steps:

1. Switch on the meter and confirm specimen type is set to blood (bL)

2. Insert the correct code chip and confirm the code number matches the test device pouch

3. Insert the test strip into the meter

4. Discard the first drop from the control solution bottle, then apply approximately 35 µl control solution to the specimen well

5. For the 3-in-1 test, use two separate test strips: one for CHOL, one for HDL/TRIG

6. Read the result on screen within approximately 2 minutes

7. Compare the result to the expected range printed on the test strip pouch

How to store

- Store at 2 to 30°C; refrigeration is acceptable but do not freeze

- After opening, use within 4 months and record the open date on the bottle label

- Keep bottles tightly closed when not in use

- Store away from direct sunlight and heat

- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the bottle label
